This Vietnamese two-stringed moon-shaped lute is far different from that of China though they are rather similar. Because it has a longer neck and all the frets are fixed on high positions. In the past, it had only 8 frets. Today, they are fixed with two more ones. Totally, it has 10 frets and it is tuned at five-tone scale.
