Trống Bồng   6. The role of Bồng in orchestras/Vị trí Trống Bồng trong Dàn nhạc:

It is used to perform in the South' s orchestra of Lễ music (ritual music) or in another name band of Ngũ âm orchestra (Orchestra of Five Musical Instrumental Timbres) that is regarded as being militarily side.  Bồng drum is also included in Great Music orchestra of Huế Court Music.
